Overcoming Destructive Beliefs Feelings and Behaviors includes a comprehensive and up-to-date description of REBT as described by the creator of REBT, Albert Ellis.

Although the basic premise of REBT remained the same, some aspects of the approach evolved, and Albert Ellis led this development himself. Ellis eventually defined the (B) of the ABCs as not only Believing, but as Believing-Emoting-Behaving.

This book is important in that it shows many examples of using the most up-to-date REBT approach as defined by Albert Ellis, and is intended for professionals as well as those seriously seeking to utilize REBT as a self-help method.
